The two main considerations as to which style would suit your opening best is if there is enough room on your jamb to fit the inner sill system, and aesthetically which one you prefer.

Architrave Mounted or Inner Sill Retractable Insect Screens
Architrave Mounted Doors & Windows
Architrave Mounted is where the retractable screens canister is attached to the outside architrave or frame of your door or window.
To obtain the correct width measurements, measure from the outside edge of the architrave or frame surrounding your door/window. To obtain the correct height measurements, measure from the top of the architrave of frame to the bottom of the doorway or window frame.
Inner Sill Doors & Windows
Inner Sill is where the retractable screen framework is attached to inside the frame
of your door or window. (For this option you must allow 50mm within the recess)
Inner sill mounted: To obtain the correct width measurements, measure from the inside frame of your window or door. To obtain the correct height measurements, measure from the inside of the top of the door/window frame to bottom of the doorway or window sill.
